02 · Work with what you know
Use the 5-letter finder with a pattern such as S??RE. Include letters you know are present and exclude letters you have ruled out. Included letters are not automatically restricted to a position. In the five-letter tool, add your guesses and cycle tiles through gray, yellow and green to reproduce your game feedback.
03 · Fill the missing pieces
In the crossword helper, one ? is one unknown letter. C?A?E finds five-letter matches; it does not interpret the clue. Use the dictionary link to check meaning before you choose.
Keep the ending fixed
Use this view when the final position is E. Add excluded letters from your puzzle to shorten the list, and reproduce color clues to handle repeated letters accurately.
